 Are there any side effects?

Patients will typically experience swelling for approximately one week after treatment. There may also be bruising. Minimal to moderate redness is to be expected with resolution within a day.

When will I start seeing results?

Optimal results are typically observed beginning at three months after treatment and continue for a full year. Results are very long lasting – some patients that have had a past facelift report that it lasted longer that their facelift.  For most patients, only one treatment is needed but if another treatment is desired, it is recommended to wait a full year after the first Profound treatment.

Is there any pain?

A local anesthetic is given to the areas prior to treatment so there is no pain during treatment.
