Charles County Freedom Landing believes that all of the people who are provided service are our organiztions most important resource.
Charles County Freedom Landing believes that all people are valued and should receive service that reflect and respect all aspects of diversity.
We believe and practice the fundamental principles of psychiatric rehabilitation through: addressing the unique needs of each individual, helping to re-establish normal roles and reintegration into community life, facilitating the development of personal support networks, facilitating and enhancing quality of life for each person receiving services. Most importantly, we believe that each individual should be treated with respect and dignity, has the ability to learn and grow, and should play an important role in their personal recovery.
Charles County Freedom Landing’s services are funded through Medical Assistance, fees, funding from the Behavioral Health Administration of the Maryland Department of Health, special grants, donations and other funding sources as available. Fees for services are minimal and a sliding fee scale is used based on individual needs. Medicaid recipients are covered up to 100% of costs.
