Affordable Aesthetic Treatment in Seoul: What US Patients Should Know About Pricing and Clinic Practices

Most American patients looking at an affordable Korean aesthetic clinic in Seoul start with the price list. That is a reasonable place to start, as long as they know what the numbers include and what they leave out.
Take Botox first, since it is the simplest item on the menu.
Forehead treatment using Coretox starts at ₩29,000 at VandS Clinic Seoul, as one example. Other neurotoxin brands are available as well, including Wondertox and Botulax from Korea, Xeomin from Germany, and Allergan from the United States, and the brand chosen affects the final price. Patients converting the figure into dollars should use the exchange rate on the day they pay, not a rate they saw months earlier.
Thermage FLX is priced by the number of shots. At VandS Myeongdong, 300 shots is listed at ₩1,090,000, currently ₩990,000 on promotion, and 600 shots at ₩1,890,000, currently ₩1,780,000. Gangnam Central lists 300 shots at ₩1,290,000. All of these figures are before VAT.
Ultherapy Prime at 300 shots is listed at ₩990,000 before VAT, and like Thermage FLX it is quoted by shot count rather than by session. These figures provide examples for comparison, but promotional prices and branch pricing can change, so patients should confirm current rates before booking.
The general manager of VandS Clinic Gangnam Central, Seol, explained that the clinic’s pricing reflects the cost of running a clinic in Seoul, and that the consultation process does not change based on where a patient comes from.
According to her, every patient goes through the same skin analysis and the same consultation before any treatment is confirmed.
“The savings are a function of market operating costs, not reduced standards,” Seol told reporters.
“The devices are the same devices. The protocols are the same protocols. Our physicians conduct the same examination for an American patient as for a Korean patient walking in the same afternoon,” she added.

For anyone pricing affordable Korean treatments in Seoul, the treatment bill is only part of the total. Flights, accommodation, and time away from work all belong in the same calculation, and those costs vary too widely between patients to be summarized in a single figure.
What the published menu does make possible is estimating the cost of more than one treatment in a single visit. Whether multiple treatments are appropriate together should be determined during the clinical consultation.
Patients can see each item’s price before arrival and decide what fits their budget and schedule. A visit, from arrival through checkout, generally runs one to one and a half hours. Derma Toxin skin botox 3cc for pore tightening is ₩99,000. Quick Zero Fat for one facial area is ₩69,000. Lip filler using Neuramis is ₩149,000. Reepot Laser for full-face pigmentation is ₩600,000. Rejuran Healer 2cc is ₩135,000 as a first visit trial and ₩199,000 for regular sessions.
Price is not the only factor when combining treatments. Downtime differs. Small bumps and mild redness after Derma Toxin typically settle within three to six hours and resolve inside twelve to twenty-four hours, while injectable boosters such as Rejuran can leave visible injection points for two to three days. Individual recovery can vary, and patients with a flight soon after the appointment should raise this during consultation.
One thing to factor in. Korean clinics commonly list aesthetic prices excluding the 10 percent VAT, which separates non-taxable medical work from taxable cosmetic procedures. A quote that omits VAT understates the real cost by a tenth, and that distorts any comparison a patient makes between clinics.
VAT is often listed as a separate line on the written estimate, handed over before the consent form is signed. Prices also vary by branch, since each location sets rates through its lead physician.
South Korea’s government medical-aesthetic VAT refund program for foreign visitors ended in January 2026. VandS states that some branches now offer a separate clinic-provided global customer benefit for eligible international patients, with the amount and terms varying by branch and promotion. Patients should confirm the current benefit with the specific branch before treatment.
For a medical tourism aesthetic clinic Korea visit, price only matters alongside the process behind it.
Every visit opens with a Mark-VU skin analysis at no additional charge, mapping pigmentation, hydration, pore condition, fine lines, and barrier integrity. A Beauty Consultant explains the results and gives the treatment recommendation in an enclosed private consultation room. The physician then performs the procedure. Patients should confirm who makes the final clinical decision about treatment and have an opportunity to discuss the proposed procedure with the physician before proceeding.
Those doctors are named publicly. Dr. Juhye Jo at Gangnam Central, a family medicine specialist trained at Severance Hospital. Dr. Cho Minju at Myeongdong 1st branch, M.D. from Yonsei University College of Medicine. Dr. Woosun Jang at Hongdae, a board certified dermatologist and former clinical adjunct professor at Chung-Ang University Hospital.
For patients evaluating the best Korean skin care clinic in Seoul, public reviews offer another reference point. Gangnam Central is 4.8 out of 5 from 1,269 reviews, Myeongdong 1st branch is 4.3 from 650, and Hongdae is 4.4 from 259, drawn from patients across more than fifteen countries. Ratings are a guide, not a guarantee of any individual result.
Before booking anywhere, it helps to request a written estimate that names the device or product brand, the dosage in shots or cc, whether a licensed physician performs the procedure, whether VAT is included or added, and the aftercare involved. A written estimate covering procedure, dosage, product, aftercare, and VAT is often provided before the consent form is signed. Patients can use those same details as a checklist when comparing estimates from different clinics.
For medical tourists, scheduling should also account for the departure date and expected recovery time. Before traveling, patients should confirm appointment availability, accepted payment methods, cancellation policies and whether their planned departure date affects the recommended treatment schedule.
International patients should also confirm whether English-language or interpretation support is available, whether appointments are required and how questions or complications will be handled after they return home.
Location and operating hours can also matter when treatment must fit around flights and hotel stays. Patients should confirm the exact branch, current operating hours and appointment availability before building a travel itinerary around a procedure.
Even so, patients considering an affordable Korean aesthetic clinic in Seoul are advised to treat price as one factor among several and to complete a proper consultation before selecting any procedure.
