Healing With Narrative Medicine

What if there was something you haven't learned yet that could change everything? It's this exact mindset that will give you the awareness and freedom you seek. It's using to learn this powerful tool of your mind that will help you redefine what it means to heal.

In a wonderful video by Michael Singer, the author of The Untethered Soul, he says the mind can either be your greatest power, or it can be a dangerous place to dwell. If you have physical pain, you don't hesitate to go to the doctor to learn what you need to do to fix it. But when our minds feel out of control we tend to hide in shame and hope those feelings go away.

Healing is as much in the mind as it is in the body and soul. In the beginning of this journey you can start by asking yourself some powerful questions to encourage awareness, curiosity and courage. “What else is possible?” “What if there's something I haven't learned yet that could change everything for the better?”

Inside of a positive, on-purpose and focused mind is the path to clarity, solutions and healing, no matter if that healing is physical or mental/emotional.

One of the most powerful ways to start to experiment with your mindset is to start practicing awareness in combination with journaling. When you begin to move what's on the inside to the outside onto the page you'll begin to Feng Shui your soul; to clear a space for creativity, inspiration and answers to come through. You'll be learning the language of your intuition through this kind of connected journaling.

I learned this some years ago after writing a 65,000-word book about my childhood. That is a book that nobody else will read. It was the journaling I had to do to heal. This is now called narrative medicine. You can Google it.
