YourHEALTH Magazine is published locally to provide the public with information about health and local health professionals. There are two editions, one in Maryland (covering Prince George’s County, Montgomery County, Anne Arundel County, Howard County, and Southern Maryland) and another in Virginia (covering Arlington County, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, Prince William County, and Alexandria). Valuable health information is read by 300,000 to 400,000 people each month. Articles are produced by local health professionals and offer quality expert information about common health problems and solutions, and new and emerging technologies.

Your Health Magazine is distributed free to the public in over 6,000 locations. We have learned that this is the best mechanism to assure market penetration.

Sales Account Managers/Customer Service
It is important to understand how a doctor’s office works in order to understand how Your Health Magazine can benefit the customers and the readers.
Our sales process, when used properly, is exciting and effective. If you have a medical/healthcare background and have sales ability then this position could very well be the best opportunity for you.
The position requires researching doctors offices and contacting them by phone, fax and email. In doing this, it is important to explain our mission to them, and show them how they can help people and benefit at the same time.
Working with doctors offices this way generates sales and many long term customers on which you would earn commissions, in addition to salary, benefits and bonuses.
Our team oriented environment makes it possible for anyone to succeed who has an understanding of the workings of the healthcare environment and sales. We will, of course, provide training where needed.

Bookkeeper/Billing
Utilization of Peachtree accounting software for bookkeeping, A/R’s, A/P’s and Payroll processing. Computer accounting experience and be accurate and precise in all aspects of bookkeeping.
The office utilizes Windows for the accounting operations, and MacOS for production and to maintain the company’s prospect and customer database.
The position is in regular communication with the company president.
Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits are available to all employees, and there is a monthly bonus plan which offers additional income for each position.
Market Research Analyst
Collect & analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, & buying habits to identify potential markets & factors affecting product demand; gather data on competitors & analyze prices, sales, & market methods. Office Manager/Bookkeeper
FULL-TIME Position
Our staff of 7 people in the areas of sales, customer services, production, and distribution, need a manager who understands the systematic approach for each position well enough to direct activities and provide support.
The position entails following established procedures and assuring that all staff members are on task and operating at a high level.
Included in the position is utilization of our accounting software for bookkeeping, A/R’s, A/P’s and Payroll processing. This should require a day of your time per week, and may be turned over to a billing assistant.
Must have strong computer, communication, and leadership skills. The office utilizes Windows for the accounting operations, and MacOS for production and to maintain the company’s prospect and customer database.

Graphic Design/Desktop Publishing
FULL-TIME Position
Requires command of MacOS and InDesign, and the ability to produce a complete publication each week.
InDesign is the primary software used for ad layouts and publication page layouts. To be considered the applicant must have a command of InDesign and other Adobe products, including, Photoshop and Illustrator.
We also use Microsoft Word, Entourage, Filemaker Pro, IE, and Outlook.
Some administrative tasks are required, including, logging and tracking orders on run sheets, proof-reading, customer service, and phone answering.
