The doctor must give a written order for home health services to include the diagnosis and a completed face-to-face encounter (per Medicare guidelines) to initiate home care.

The patient's demographics must be submitted which includes the correct address, date of birth, contact number and insurance information.

Care will usually begin 24 to 48 hours from receipt of doctor's order with patient demographics.
