So, You’re Having a Baby
Becoming parents is one of the most amazing and frightening experiences in life. Even as children we grow up planning to find just the right partner and start our own family. Now that childhood dream is becoming a reality.

Eating a well-balanced diet. You only need 300 extra calories per day to grow a baby. Don’t forget your pre-natal vitamins and plenty of water every day.
Balancing exercise and rest.
Learning about the many changes your body will undergo during pregnancy.
Prepare by adapting your home for a safe environment for baby.
If you or your partner smokes stop now. Infants that live in a smoking household are five times more likely to die of SIDS.
Plan for your birth experience. Know all your options for comfort in labor.
Taking a childbirth education class is an excellent way to prepare for the big day.
