Feel and Look 10-20 Years Younger

You've probably heard that 70 is the new 50 and 60 is the new 40, and so on. All can be true, and it's only a matter of mindset. Who ever said that aging has to be a dreaded task? As Dr. Chistiane Northrop says, “Getting older is a given, aging is optional.”

Many people say they don't have the energy they once had, and therefore don't have the motivation, to feel and look more vital. It has to start somewhere and the first place to look is mindset.

What are your priorities in life? Where are you putting your resources, your precious time and money? That will give you a clue. Does it need to be redirected to reach the goals you have in life for health and fitness?

Some ideas to get you started try walking around your neighborhood, and lift dumbbells on a weight bench while watching your favorite sporting events or shows. Sometimes you'll have to make sacrifices and complete what you promised yourself to do before enjoying other hobbies.

Cut out breads and sweets and eat healthier food. Changing your diet alone can lead to a big weight loss in the first month, and adding physical activity to that can lead to even bigger results.

There are endless things that can sabotage your ability to devote time to yourself. But in the long run, what you do for yourself helps others as well.

Look at your most desired fitness and health goal.

What keeps you from reaching it? What can you say “no” to in order to say “yes” to your health and vitality? Is something blocking you from getting where you want to be?

Things To Ask Yourself

Where do I want to be?

What is holding me back?

Am I willing to let that go?

Take a look at your diet, each day. Look for breads and sweets and any other high calorie foods. Make choices for nutrient rich foods with minimal calories. Throw away any tempting food.

How much exercise do you get? Your can start by walking around the neighborhood (bundle up for cold weather), or join a gym if it feels right.

Remember healthy eating and fitness is not a seasonal thing. It's your lifestyle.
