Invisalign Clear Braces

Invisalign braces are clear plastic trays that are worn over the teeth to give you the straight smile traditional braces would have given you, but without the associated brackets and wires. These are clear braces and can correct the mild to moderate spacing and crowding problems that you may have.
Many people would like to have the beautiful, straight teeth that braces would provide. Unfortunately, the idea of having the metal brackets and wires that are used with traditional braces keep many individuals from getting the straight teeth they want.
With a series of specially designed removable plastic trays, called aligners, Invisalign can shift your teeth into the straight positions that you’ve always wanted. Unlike traditional braces, there is no metal permanently bonded to your teeth. Also, since Invisalign clear braces are removable, you don’t have to make any changes in your diet.
Benefiting from Invisalign braces begins with scheduling an initial consultation with your dentist. During your initial consultation, you can discuss what results you would like to see. Your dentist will determine if they are right for you and make an impression of your teeth.
The impression is then sent out with specific instructions for what changes are to be made to your teeth. Then a 3D computer is used to create a series of aligners that will gradually shift your teeth into position.
When your dentist receives the aligners, they will invite you back to the office, where you will be outfitted with your aligners. Each Invisalign aligner has been designed so that it is worn for a couple weeks, and then replaced by the next aligner in the series.
The aligners are worn throughout the day, and can be removed while you are eating. Because they are made out of clear plastic, they are virtually invisible to everyone. To start using Invisalign clear braces, contact your dentist. During your initial consultation, your dentist will answer any additional questions you may have as well as determine what results you want to see.
