Breast Augmentation, Beauty and Peace Of Mind

Breast augmentation is the most popular cosmetic plastic surgery procedure according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, with almost 300,000 procedures performed last year.

Many women desire breast augmentation, (enlargement of the female breast), but may have some skepticism about using silicone gel implants despite Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, nor do they like the look or feel of the original saline implants.

A new, revolutionary saline implant has just been approved by the FDA and is available for patient use. It is called the Ideal Implant Structured Breast Implant and provides women with the desirable features of both implants the natural feel of silicone gel combined with the safety of only saline implants.

The Ideal Implant has a simple, but unique, internal structure designed to control the movement of the saline and give the implant a natural feel.

The internal structure of this new implant is unique and consists of a series of two saline-filled chambers and series of implants shells of increasing size nested together. The internal structure is designed to control the movement of the saline filler, giving the implant a natural feel.

Unlike silicone gel implants that require an MRI scan to determine if they are intact or ruptured, with the Ideal Implant, a woman can look in the mirror and have the confidence of knowing her implants are intact, day in and day out.

It has been over 50 years that women have been using breast implants for augmenting the size of the female breast. Other non-surgical means have been used as well.

In late 2014, the Food and Drug Administration approved the use of the Ideal Implant for breast augmentation. This was based on a multi-center US clinical trial with 502 women using the implant since 2009, and now has over five years of follow-up data.

With the advent of this new implant, the Ideal Implant, women now have one more option for making informed decisions about surgical enhancement of the breast.

The Ideal Implant and any other breast implant should only be placed by a board certified plastic surgeon.

Women interested in learning more about the Ideal Implant or seeking a consultation can visit the Ideal Implant website at www.idealimplant.com.
