Generally, the results can be seen within 72 hours and lasts an average of three to six months. Since the nerve endings usually grow new connections to the muscle at sites that have not been exposed to Botox, the treatment must be repeated. Botox injections work on patients of all age groups, and both men and women can use the procedure to their advantage. Though the injections can prevent the furrowing and frowning, the effect will not erase damage caused by sun.
