Cancer Prevention Is the Key
“You have cancer” are among the scariest words to hear from your doctor. Yet, cancer is an ever-present disease in our society and no sure fire remedy has been found. To date, there is no cure, but there are preventative measures you can take.
There is a great deal of theory and some well documented research on the cellular changes that trigger cancer. Normally our immune systems will fight off potentially dangerous cancerous cells but if our immune system is weak or compromised, cancerous cells can find an environment to grow and become invasive in the body. New drugs are being tested which would inhibit the growth of cancer cells and thus control this horrible disease.
There are many things that we can do to help prevent cancer. Such steps are vital to you and your family for good health and a long life. There are natural products that can inhibit the growth of cancer cells and help your immune system. Some examples are Beta1, 3/1, 6 glucan, Curcumin, Quercetin, Resveratrol, vitamin C, and others.
It has been shown that vitamin E and vitamin C can enhance the effectiveness of cancer treatments and protect the body's tissues and organs. Anti-inflammatories and antioxidants help prevent cancers from developing. There is evidence that higher vitamin D3 levels lower cancer risk. With many Americans being deficient in vitamin D, it is important to have such levels checked by your doctor.
Lymphomas are on the rise and this increase is suspected to be related to massive contamination of our environment through pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and industrial chemicals. In a study of 88,000 women researchers reported a dramatic reduction in the risk of lymphoma among those who ate at least three servings of vegetables a day. Six servings of cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower and limiting cow's milk and red meat, showed even a lowered risk. Make sure to try to find organic vegetables and milk that have not been contaminated. Sugar is a cancer feeder. Limit sugar intake.
Diet is vital to preventing breast cancer. Research has shown that omega 6 fats such as corn, safflower, peanut, and soybean oils significantly increased the risk of breast cancer. Omega 3 oils suppressed breast cancer development. Don't cook with omega 6 oils.
This is just a micro view of the topic. As with any health issue, check with your doctor first. If you or a loved one are faced with cancer, I suggest reading the book Radical Remission by Kelly Turner, PH. D. It is well worth it. Start now to save your life and prevent cancer.
