Ranjana Jain, MD, FAAPD

Ranjana Jain, MD, FAAP, is a Board Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is part of the Virginia Pediatric Group team, serving families in Fairfax and Herndon, VA, to ensure children stay healthy and happy.

Dr. Jain, originally from New York City and raised in rural southwest Virginia, earned her BA in chemistry from the University of Virginia and her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia/VCU. She completed her Pediatric Residency at North Shore University/Schneider’s Children’s Hospital in 2002.

Prior to joining Virginia Pediatric Group in 2003, she worked with her father in his pediatric practice. Dr. Jain was named one of Washingtonian’s Top Docs in 2015.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, skiing, hiking, traveling, and yoga. She lives in Falls Church, VA, with her husband and two sons.
