Dr. Jenifer Cushing is the co-founder and audiologist at Live Better Hearing + Balance, Maryland’s premiere, family-owned audiology and hearing health practice with locations across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region.
In 2007, Dr. Cushing and her husband, Dr. Ross Cushing, founded Live Better Hearing in a small office in Montgomery Village with one simple, but powerful mission: To help people live better lives through better hearing.
Today, Live Better Hearing + Balance has grown to one of the most respected hearing health care practices in the country, with over 30 doctors specializing in hearing aids, tinnitus, balance evaluations and treatment, and pediatric evaluations. Dr. Cushing and the dozens of top-rated audiologists at Live Better Hearing are proud to provide compassionate and personalized audiology care and hearing services to thousands of satisfied patients each year.
A Maryland native, Dr. Cushing earned her Bachelor of Arts in Hearing & Speech Science from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Doctorate in Clinical Audiology from the University at Buffalo. As a graduate student in Buffalo, she published over twenty peer-reviewed scientific articles while working at the Center for Hearing and Deafness. Her expertise is in adult and pediatric hearing diagnostics and hearing aids, and she has a unique expertise in electrophysiological measures thanks to her graduate research.
