Ashley enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and values the variety that comes with helping patients of different ages, activity levels, and stages of life. Over the course of her career, she has developed a special clinical interest in women’s health, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and hip impingement.Within women’s health, Ashley especially enjoys working with women during pregnancy and the postpartum period. She is passionate about helping women better understand the changes their bodies experience during these stages, address pelvic floor concerns, and build the strength and confidence needed to return to the activities they love and tackle the physical demands of motherhood.Ashley’s treatment philosophy centers on looking beyond an isolated area of pain or dysfunction to understand how the body is moving as a whole. Her approach often begins with nervous system regulation and movement optimization before progressing to strength and higher-level function. She values individualized care and patient education, helping patients better understand their bodies and take an active role in their recovery.Outside of clinical practice, Ashley enjoys continuing to learn about health and wellness, with a particular interest in functional medicine. Through that learning, she has become increasingly interested in how factors such as nutrition, sleep, stress, recovery, and overall health can influence pain, healing, and physical function, and how understanding those connections can make her a more informed physical therapist.Leadership & ExperienceAshley has experience supervising and mentoring physical therapist assistants, guiding patient progression and supporting continuity of care. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with physicians and other referring providers, developing strong collaborative relationships that help coordinate care and support patients throughout their recovery. She values communication across the healthcare team and recognizes the importance of collaboration when patients may benefit from additional evaluation or multidisciplinary care.Credentials & CertificationsDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) — Shenandoah UniversityBS in Kinesiology, Cum Laude with Distinction — James Madison UniversityLicensed Physical Therapist — VirginiaFunctional Dry Needling Level 1 — Evidence In MotionPelvic Floor Rehabilitation Training — Institute of Clinical Excellence (Pelvic L1 · Pelvic Live: Female)AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare ProvidersAdvanced Treatment TechniquesFunctional Dry NeedlingOrthopedic Manual TherapyPelvic Floor RehabilitationWomen’s HealthPregnancy & Postpartum RehabilitationHip Impingement TreatmentOrthopedic RehabilitationMovement AssessmentNervous System Regulation & Movement OptimizationTherapeutic ExercisePatient Education & Injury Prevention
