Advice For People Who Exercise To Lose Weight
Going to the gym and exercising regularly is one of the best things you can do for your health, period. The benefits include increased happiness, weight loss, improved muscle and bone health, increased energy levels, reduced risks for chronic diseases, improved skin health, improved brain and memory function, better sleep, and even a better sex life.
So with all these benefits, why does only one in every three adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week? The answer is pretty simple – physical exercise can be uncomfortable, and it’s not easy for everyone.
Maybe you don’t like to sweat, or you don’t like feeling out of breath, or you don’t like getting up a half-hour early to jog around the block. Maybe you just hate going to a gym and exercising in front of other people.
Getting outside your comfort zone is not a bad thing though, and once you do you’ll find it gets a lot easier. Finding your motivation is key.
Besides the obvious health benefits, a lot of people exercise so they can look more attractive to others. Which is perfectly fine – everyone wants to look their best, and it’s okay to admit that losing a few pounds would help you achieve that.
This brings us to the main point of this article, which is this: what happens when you’re exercising at the gym for weeks – and in some cases, months – and you’re not seeing a noticeable improvement in that stubborn stomach area (love handles), or the loose skin in your neck area (turkey neck), or thigh bulges, etc? Well, the fact is that a lot of people give up on exercise because of these frustrations.
It’s important to realize that as we age, it gets a lot more difficult to get rid of stubborn fat or cellulite. You might be losing pounds as you exercise, but still remain frustrated about that fat area that doesn’t go away.
Sure – you could see a plastic surgeon and remove the fat/cellulite surgically with a procedure like liposuction. But that’s not exactly convenient for most of us.
Fortunately, modern technology has provided us with options. There are now procedures which, combined with physical activity and exercise, can help you get rid of that fat quickly and start noticing the fruits of your workouts a lot sooner.
Take Cryoskin® for example – a new procedure that utilizes cryolipolysis, a medical treatment that destroys fat cells by freezing them. It’s non-invasive, there’s no downtime, and best of all – treatments are comfortable and completed within 20-30 minutes. It effectively reduces cellulite in “problem areas” and will help you reveal the slim, toned body you’re after.
Treatments like this are not meant to take the place of exercise or physical activity, nor should they. However, if you find yourself getting frustrated by stubborn fat areas that are resistant to exercise, contact a certified Cyroskin® provider to learn if you’re a good candidate for this procedure. And keep up those regular gym workouts.
