The Truth About Learning and Starting Something New
You know the big misperception that a lot of people have. If you feel there is not enough time to pursue what makes you happy — that is a limiting perspective that needs to be changed immediately. I'm all about abundance and it's one of my favorite subjects to teach. And time is the one thing that we don't get back or can't create more of. But what matters is what you do with the time that you have.
According to the A.C. Nielsen Co., the average American watches more than four hours of TV each day (that's two months of nonstop TV-watching per year). In a 65-year life, that person will have spent nine years glued to the tube. When something is really a priority for you, then you create the time. You watch less TV, or any other things that waste your time and you find a way.
Hypothetically, what if you took just one hour a day to dedicate towards becoming a coach? What would your life be like then? You could take one less hour of numbing out and do something that will help you reach your greatness and possibly your purpose. We all have a certain amount of time here in these bodies why not feel alive and on purpose doing what you love making the kind of money you deserve to make? I bet you would find the time for that.
It is never too late to start a new career. People do even as late as their seventies. On example would be Dr. Ed who is a psychologist who, later in life when normally people are retiring, he decided he wanted to be a coach instead of the traditional psychologist so he switched his practice from psychology to coaching.
It is never too late to start doing what you feel called to do.
It is never too late to start living your purpose and passion.
It is never too late to finally enjoy something that you do for a living.
This is your life. If you are not happy doing what you are currently doing for a living, please do something different. It does not matter how long you have been doing whatever it is you have been doing, or how old you are. Don't wait to be happy. You can really have it all.
