Throughout the different types of media we encounter, there are many promotions regarding the ability to enhance your beauty. Magazines, television, fashion, etc. all show beautiful people in different situations smiling from ear to ear.

So why is a smile that important to overall beauty? Why are beautiful white teeth so important and alluring to many people?

There have been claims that say (1) when people meet the first thing they do is make eye contact a meeting of the mind and soul and (2) the next thing they do is look at the mouth because it communicates so much about our personalities. A healthy, pleasant appearing mouth and smile conveys confidence and self-esteem. A healthy, beautiful mouth smells good, looks good and says so many unspoken words about each of us.

Beautiful smiles are possible because of the advances made in modern dentistry. A healthy, beautiful smile can help you look and feel more successful, confident, and attractive. A beautiful smile can work wonders.

People with missing teeth or obvious decay can feel ashamed or embarrassed when they smile and cover their mouth with their hands to prevent anyone from seeing. The pain of an unsightly smile is real and it hurts, just ask anyone who has experienced this kind of situation. Lives can literally be changed when people get a new smile; it is one of the most dramatic changes one can make.

People who experience a new smile can exhibit more than just an improved appearance; many times they can become more outgoing and people begin to notice how much more open and friendly they become. It can be an astonishing personality change for people and quite amazing to witness. After 33 years and thousands of patients, I have never heard anyone say they were disappointed after having gone through any type of smile enhancement treatment.

Before and after photos demonstrate how dramatic the changes can be. After showing these photos to people, they question whether the before photos belong to the same person depicted in the after treatment photos.
