Do You Hate the Dentist?
Dental technology has changed so much. It is so much better than 50 years ago. It's incredible. But people haven't changed that much. Still only 50% of people see a dentist on a regular schedule, the rest don't go.
People who hate the dentist are not crazy or stupid, they just can't stand the shots, the drilling, scraping, and feeling of being out of control when reclining in a dental chair, especially with their mouth full of water and somebody else's fingers. So if you are one of the people who regularly visit the dentist for preventive care, give yourself a pat on the back, cause you're amazing and deserve it. All the same, we love people who hate the dentist too.
Even the dentist hater has to go when the physical-emotional, pain-shame, gets bad enough. Today, we can get rid of all the pain and shame from bad teeth in no time, bad teeth out and new teeth in. Have you seen the TV commercials that claim to do it all in one day? People are asking, “How that's possible?” What this means is that you wear temporary teeth until the permanent ones come in. It is like having new teeth they just aren't permanent.
Dentures or Implants
Dentist haters have two options when things go south, dentures or implants. Dentures look good but have a lot of functional limitations. Dental implants look good and work well, so dental implants are the best. This is a time when people can have the advantage of this great new technology and the teeth and smile they want.
