PEMF Energy: Medicine For the Body
In 2011, Dr. Oz introduced PEMF Therapy to the American public as a revolutionary treatment for pain. He briefly explained that the use of pulsed electromagnetic field energy is a non-invasive, drug free approach to pain management. It has been used in European countries for decades. NASA incorporated this therapy into their space program to improve the debilitating effects experienced by astronauts returning from space flights.
In the 1800’s scientists discovered that the Earth produces a pulsating electro-magnetic field that sustains all life on our planet. From this discovery PEMF devices began to be manufactured to duplicate this natural electromagnetic energy field as a healing apparatus. In later years, new and better devices were designed to aid in cellular regeneration – charging our cells with electromagnetic energy to boost their ability to repair themselves. Energy deficient, damaged cells, incapable of repairing themselves are, in many cases, the source of illnesses and diseases.
PEMF’s impact as a non-invasive therapy is slowly gaining momentum. From 1979 to 2011, the U.S. FDA approved PEMF treatments for: non-union bone fractures, urinary incontinence, muscle stimulation, depression and anxiety, and brain cancer/tumors. Medicare approved of PEMF therapy for stage III and stage IV wound care issues in 2004.
There are over 10,000 scientific reports substantiating the benefits of PEMF. PubMed, NIH.gov and the NCBI are just a few medical websites providing a plethora of articles on the benefits of PEMF therapy in the treatment of over two hundred illnesses and diseases.
