It is difficult sometimes to realize how breathing is so important. It delivers oxygen to where it is needed in the body and as the saying goes, “breath is life.” The better you breathe, the better you move, the better you exercise, the better you can deal with daily stress.
As babies and young children, most of us breathed freely and naturally with our entire bodies. But our sedentary work environments and lifestyles, along with the ever increasing stress of our busy lives, has conditioned many of us to shallow, constricted breathing.
