Ira M. Weinstein, MD

Dr. Weinstein is Board Certified in both Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He joined the practice in 1989 after completing his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Originally from Kingston, New York, Dr. Weinstein completed his undergraduate studies at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He earned his medical degree from SUNY-Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York, and went on to complete his medical residency at the Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Weinstein currently serves as the medical director of the sleep lab at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He is married to Sandy, a nurse, and together they have three daughters. Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Weinstein enjoys music and playing in a rock and roll band.

He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of pulmonary and sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, lung cancer, COPD, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, and more.
