Naima Jacobs-El, MD

Dr. Jacobs-El is a dedicated ophthalmologist committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered eye care. With a strong foundation in medical ophthalmology, Dr. Jacobs-El brings extensive training and experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, from routine vision concerns to complex ocular diseases.

Known for her gentle approach, Dr. Jacobs-El prioritizes making each patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care. She believes that building trust is essential to achieving the best outcomes and strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and respected.

Dr. Jacobs-El earned her medical degree from Howard University School of Medicine and completed her residency training in ophthalmology at Howard University Hospital, followed by dual fellowship training in medical retina and uveitis at the National Institutes of Health National Eye Institute. She has also contributed to advancing medical research at the National Institutes of Health and proudly served veterans for several years within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affair. She remains dedicated to staying at the forefront of advancements in eye care and incorporates the latest evidence-based practices into her work.
