Dr. Chylinski was drawn to the field of Audiology as a young middle schooler when she was first introduced to a classmate with a profound hearing loss. She knew instantly that she wanted to work in hearing healthcare. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2017 from California University of Pennsylvania, where she was an executive and founding member of the American Sign Language club on campus. She then received her Doctor of Audiology degree at Towson University in Maryland in May 2021. She holds her American Speech & Language Association (ASHA)’s clinical competency in audiology (CCC-A).

Laura has been working in private practice since she graduated in 2021. She has a special interest in pediatric and adult diagnostics, appropriate hearing device selection and maintenance, and cochlear implants. Dr. Chylinski has the experience of clinical rotations in ENT settings as well as educational audiology and private practice, including time as a student at Freedom Hearing Center. She has a passion for educating patients and family members regarding hearing loss and helping them understand how hearing can impact their overall health and wellness.

Dr. Chylinski enjoys spending time with her family; including her husband, daughter, and dog. They like to travel, enjoy new restaurants, and are learning the ropes of boating. Community service has been a large part of her life since she was young. She was born and raised in Calvert County, MD and looks forward to providing services to the community that raised her.
