Haresh Ailani, MD

Haresh Ailani, MD is a Board Certified Fellowship Trained Cataract and Cornea Surgeon. He graduated from New York University School of Medicine, NY and completed a Residency in Ophthalmology at North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System, NY. He finished his training with a specialization in cornea and complex anterior segment surgery at Wills Eye Institute, Philadelphia, PA. He is a clinical instructor at Georgetown University Department of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Ailani is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgery / Cornea Surgeons. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has received Top Doctor Awards from Washingtonian Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, Castle Connolly and Best Cataract Surgeons in America.

Dr. Ailani specializes in anterior segment surgery including cornea and cataract refractive surgery, with or without femtosecond assisted laser, using standard and advanced technology intraocular lenses. He has performed over 15,000 cataract surgeries. Dr. Ailani is available by appointment or referral at both our office locations.
