Fraser C. Henderson Jr., MD, has built a remarkable medical career. As a physician and humanitarian, he has dedicated his life to improving health outcomes for people across the globe.
Dr. Henderson is admired for his expertise and contributions to neurosurgery, particularly in treating complex spine and brain disorders. His compassionate approach to patient care and exceptional surgical skills have made him a trusted figure among patients and colleagues.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completing his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, he was a Neurosurgery Research Fellow at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, and a Fellow in Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery ay Weill Cornell Medicine.
With a commitment to serve, Dr. Henderson undertook a two-year mission to practice neurosurgery in Kenya at Tenwek Hospital through the Post-Residency Program at World Medical Mission (WMM), a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse.
