Emilie Duke, LME

Like many others, our founder, Emilie Duke, had always struggled with acne. As a teenager, she tried almost every acne-targeted product she could find but to no avail. And so, she learned how to conceal her blemishes with makeup, applying more products to ensure a flawless-looking complexion. Little did she know she was only exacerbating her acne.

When her siblings began experiencing the same issue, she realized the extent of how many people are affected by acne. As a result, she felt it was her responsibility to make a change and decided to pursue a career in esthetics. While in Dubai in 1999, she was exposed to various multicultural skin treatments and was given an opportunity to refine her skills.

Ten years later, she moved to the United States to train alongside one of the top cosmetic physicians in the area and complete her degree in Master Esthetics from Dermal Science International in Northern Virginia. Not too long later, she became one of the first Estheticians and Certified Acne Specialists in her area.

During her training, she developed her craft; however, she still felt she had more to learn. So, throughout her 21 years as a multifaceted Esthetician, she worked to perfect her practice of clearing acne holistically.

Then, in 2016, she summoned the courage to pursue her lifelong dream of opening her own clinic, which would become E Skin Forte. Now, she gains fulfillment from acting on her purpose to help others achieve the healthy, radiant skin and confidence they deserve.

When not in the throes of her love affair with skincare, Emilie enjoys spending time with her family, eating home-cooked Filipino-native dishes, and creating a welcoming home where she and her loved ones can flourish.
