Nicole is a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst® and has been working with children and their families in the field of applied behavior analysis for over 10 years. In 2014, Nicole earned her bachelor’s degree in human biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In 2018, she completed her master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis from Capella University. In 2024, Nicole earned her Ph.D. in applied behavior analysis from the University of Nebraska Medical Center under the supervision of Dr. Bethany Hansen. 

During her doctoral studies, Nicole gained specialized training in the assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorders. Nicole also has experience and training in early intervention, including but not limited to functional communication assessment and training, daily living skills, choice assessment and training, and social skills 

Dr. Demchuk is passionate about delivering person-centered care that is high-quality, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed.

She values collaboration with the individuals she works with and their families to promote meaningful, long-term behavior change for each individual family. Nicole also enjoys collaborating with other healthcare professionals, teachers and school staff, and anyone who is part of the learners’ environment—we achieve much more together as a team!  

Outside of her professional work, Nicole enjoys testing new cookie recipes, paddleboarding, writing, hiking, cross-stitching, and being outdoors.

She is always looking for a new adventure and loves to spend time with her family and cat, French Charming.
