Carole, Founder of East-West Healing Arts

Carole is a local graduate of PMTI in Washington, DC and MITCM in Bethesda, MD. Prior to training in Eastern and Western Massage and Acupuncture she worked as a hospital nurse in the ICU step down unit and Orthopedic Neurology Floor. She additionally did in home and hospice care through several healthcare agencies. Caring for her mom at home for over 10 years was a chance to experience cherished moments with one another. She has trained in Biofeedback, Visual Imagery Stress Reduction Techniques as well as Therapeutic Touch.

East-West Healing Arts is located in Uptown Washington, DC across from the National Zoo. We offer the very best in health care modalities ranging from relaxation techniques to injury assessment and rehab accompaniment. Specializing in Soft Tissue Manipulation and drawing from Eastern and Western disciplines we offer Acupuncture, Deep Barefoot Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Swedish, AIS Specialized Stretching & Strengthening and Craniosacral, an osteopathic technique,  to highlight a few.
