Aaron S. Gebrelul, MD

Dr. Aaron Gebrelul is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee joint replacement, with expertise in robotic-assisted and minimally invasive techniques that promote personalized care and faster recovery.

He graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis and earned his medical degree at Emory University. Dr. Gebrelul completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, where he served as Chief Resident and earned top academic awards. His fellowship training took place at the University of Pennsylvania, working with leaders in hip and knee replacement.

Dr. Gebrelul’s surgical focus includes direct anterior hip replacements, minimally invasive knee replacements, fracture care, and complex revisions. He uses advanced technology like robotic assistance and computer navigation to improve surgical precision.

Outside of work, he enjoys barbecuing, spending time with family, and watching LSU football. His goal is to help patients return to a pain-free, active life with individualized care.
