Why Would Anyone See a Plastic Surgeon In the Winter?
Actually there are several excellent reasons to begin your transformation to a “New You” in the colder winter months.
First of all it is easy to conceal your recovery from surgery. If you are wearing post-surgical compression or support garments, they can be easily concealed beneath the layers of clothes usually worn during this time of year.
If you are recovering from facial procedures, you can hide your recent surgery from curious eyes with sunglasses, turtlenecks (or high collars), and scarves or hoods.
Then, by the time we start to shed our clothes in the late spring, your transformation will be ready to be put on display.
You will also need time to heal from your surgery before your transformation looks “natural.” Many women and men dream of entering the summer with a new body. Whether that new look results from liposuction, tummy tuck, breast surgery, or buttock enhancement, they will need at least two months before they will look, feel, and move naturally.
This waiting time is important if you want other people to wonder if that body is what “your momma gave you” or “what your surgeon gave you.”
It's easier to “go off the radar screen” in the winter. When a patient is recovering from plastic surgery they usually need to keep a low social profile. The wintertime is a good time for this with its shorter periods of daylight and less frequent social events.
There's nothing like “inclement weather” for providing a ready excuse to decline that awesome party, knowing that when you are ready, you will be the “featured presentation” at those parties.
Finally, although plastic surgery has become more affordable over the years, it still helps to know that that the IRS refund will be coming to help finance the transformation to a new you.
So, if you are ready to warm up to the idea of a new, more attractive you, contact a plastic surgery to help prepare you for this summer, and many summers to come.
