Belkis was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Bayonne, NJ, where she developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. Fluent in English and Spanish, she connects easily with patients and families from all backgrounds. She earned her Nursing degree from Bloomfield College and built her career in Anne Arundel County, gaining extensive experience in medical-surgical and general surgical units at Johns Hopkins Bayview and Anne Arundel Medical Center. Passionate about comprehensive care, she later earned her Master’s as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. Outside work, Belkis enjoys family, church, weightlifting, baking, travel, and her German Shepherds.
