Farangis Habib, MD, MHSc, FAAP, is a dedicated Pediatrician at Virginia Pediatric Group, serving children in Great Falls and Herndon, VA. Born in Tehran, Iran, she earned her Medical degree in 1981 from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed pediatric training in Karachi, London, Dublin, and the USA.
Dr. Habib holds a Master of Health Science from Johns Hopkins and is a Graduate Fellow of the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine (2023). She is also trained in pediatric mental health care and speaks multiple languages, including English, Farsi, Hindi, and more.
Board-certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Habib joined Virginia Pediatric Group in 2017 after practicing in Ohio, Fredericksburg, and Reston. She resides in northern Virginia with her husband and enjoys chess, cooking, and Persian poetry.
