Dr. Jim Lynch, board certified in Family and Sports Medicine, has been a leader in ultrasound-guided regenerative medicine since 2009. After a distinguished 31-year career in Army medicine, including roles in US Special Operations, Dr. Lynch relocated to Annapolis, Maryland in 2021. His extensive military background includes optimizing the physical and mental well-being of elite ‘tactical athletes’ and serving in combat deployments across Panama, the First Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and Africa.
Dr. Lynch also brought his expertise to the world of elite sports. From 2011 to 2023, he served as the U.S. Olympic Team Physician for USA Swimming, providing comprehensive care to some of the world’s most decorated Olympic athletes. His work spanned multiple World Championships and the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo.
Dr. Lynch’s academic credentials are equally impressive. He holds a BS in Psychology from West Point, an MS in healthcare improvement from Dartmouth College, and a medical degree from Brown Medical School. He serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an Adjunct Instructor at University College Cork, Ireland.
Now residing in Annapolis with his wife Jodi, Dr. Lynch remains active in his community and enjoys biking, hiking, paddleboarding, and running with his dog, Bodie.
