Healing Your Mind
If you have cancer it is very important to know how to live with your cancer. Cancer starts because abnormal cells grow out of control. Cancer cells can also invade (grow into) other tissues, something that normal cells cannot do. Growing out of control and invading other tissues are what makes a cell a cancer cell. In most cases, the cancer cells form a tumor.
Now that it has been establish that you have cancer, it's important to get right down to healing the body and mind.
The mind is the key to everything you are what you think. The mind needs to be nourished and trained to be used efficiently.
Meditation is another attribute in healing your mind. Meditation is focusing the mind. When the mind is focused on a point of interest it appears the mind has stopped, but what stops are your thoughts.
Prayer can be a form of meditation called Jappa. Jappa is repetition repeating a word or words. Jappa, or praying, helps you to stay focused. It keeps the mind from running away with thoughts.
You are what you eat. Some people eat because they love food. I guess you can say they eat out of boredom. Food is for the nourishment of the body. Foods can heal or kill the body and that is why it is so important to eat the right foods to heal and nourish the body. Some foods to eat in moderation include meat, dairy products, eggs, and sugars. Try eating more “live” foods like fruits and vegetables.
Words have meaning to you and to others. Be consciences of what you say. Words can be healing, soothing, or hurtful. Choose your words with thought.
So while you live with your cancer, say to yourself I will live each day one breathe, one word, one conscious thought at a time. We will all at some point in life leave our physical bodies, but know that your spirit/soul never dies inhale…exhale… meditate…pray… eat right.
And enjoy life. Namaste/Sat Nam.
