Foxy Eyes: How to Achieve the Effect
Essentially, temporal lifting Foxy eyes is a change in the eye vector with the displacement of the outer corner of the eye and the tips of the eyebrows towards the temple. This method is also known as the Ponytail lift or temporal lift.
Foxy eyes are recommended for young patients and give good results when the eyebrows are positioned high, the forehead is smooth, and the main request is simply to make the eyes more almond-shaped, elongated, slightly changing their vector.
Temporal Lifting Technique
Temporal lifting helps to slightly change the vector of the eyebrow. The access is made through the hairy part of the head, which allows for a sufficiently wide detachment area. The surgeon works down to the nasolabial folds and addresses the lower third of the face up to the angle of the lower jaw.
By lifting the tail of the eyebrow and the corner of the eye upwards, the midface and lower third are tightened. As a result, the whole face is raised in a localized vertical vector. The corner of the eye also rises slightly, the face becomes more youthful, and the nasolabial fold is softened.
The overall contour and facial vector change due to the redistribution of tissues in these directions, resulting in a more V-shaped, defined form. Endoscopic lifting is performed through an incision in the scalp, allowing the eyebrows to be lifted and a truly vertical upward vector to be created.
When combined with temporal lifting, a natural and beautiful result is achieved. However, it is important to understand that there are different types of temporal lifting, and the choice of method should always be individualized and considered in a complex approach. It is always better to perform one timely procedure than dozens later, when a pronounced effect can no longer be achieved.
According to indications and patient preferences, the operation ideally combines with forehead endoscopy and blepharoplasty. More information about the Foxy Eyes lifting procedure can be found on the Dr. Zykov website.
Hypercorrection After Foxy Eyes
Hypercorrection is a common occurrence in both temporal lifting and endoscopic forehead lifting. Patients often fear it, but most plastic surgeons deliberately perform hypercorrection. The main task is to ensure that the surgical result lasts. Without hypercorrection, some effect may still remain, but it will not be very reliable, since over time both the tissue flap and the frontal muscle tend to contract.
Experience shows that as early as 2 weeks after surgery, patients want to keep the results exactly as they are. Even at the stage of stitch removal (day 10–11), many say: “I don’t want it to drop, I want it to stay like this.” By this time, bruises have already faded, only slight yellowing remains, and patients literally beg the surgeon to “make the eyebrows stick” in this elevated position.

Conclusion
Facial plastic surgery is an extremely complex field, and the number of opinions will equal the number of consultations a patient undergoes.
