PEMF Can Be Complementary Or Alternative

Healthcare systems have added some form of CAM (Complementary Alternative Medicine) as well as Integrative Health Services (IH) into their conventional practices. And yes, there is a difference between CAM and IH. The following explanation will help you understand the differences

If a non-mainstream practice is used together with conventional medicine, it's considered “complementary.”

If a non-mainstream practice is used in place of conventional medicine, it's considered “alternative.”

Natural products, such as vitamins, herbs, nutritional and dietary supplements can be considered complementary when used with conventional medicinal treatments.

Mind and body practices such as yoga, acupuncture, massage therapy, hypnotherapy, traditional Chinese Medicine, meditation, Tai Chi, and naturopathy, including PEMF therapy, are used as alternatives.

PEMF's ability to boost cellular regeneration has made it an essential component within the orthopedic and chiropractic fields. The article “Why Tesla and PEMF therapy is the Future of Chiropractic”, by Christina DeBusk was featured in the August 22, 2016 issue Chiropractic Economics. The article highlights the benefit of PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapy in addressing tissue regeneration.

The FDA accepted the use of PEMF devices in the healing of non-union bone fractures in 1979, urinary incontinence and muscle stimulation in 1998, for the treatment of depression and anxiety in 2006, and for brain cancer/tumors in 2011. PEMF's ability to boost cellular repair has made this alternative therapy a valuable part of current and futuristic medicine.

PEMF can be used to address vascular problems, diabetes, wound care issues, arthritis, acute pain and chronic pain.
